Cancel Your Subscription or
Delete Your Account and Data

If you already have a UASidekick account and want to cancel your subscription or delete your account and all related data, this guide explains the process step by step.

There are two separate actions:

  1. Cancel your subscription
  2. Delete your account and all associated data

These actions must be completed in that order if you want your account and data fully removed.

If you only want to unsubscribe, complete Step 1 only. Canceling your subscription will stop access to UASidekick services, but your account data will remain in the system.

If you want to permanently delete your account and all associated data, you must complete Step 1 and then Step 2.

Important information before deleting your account

Deleting your account is permanent. This action should be considered carefully.

When you delete your account:

  • all user data is removed from UASidekick
  • all personal references tied to authorizations or regulatory compliance are deleted from our system and the FAA’s LAANC system
  • LAANC authorization codes are retained only as required for federal regulatory compliance
  • neither the FAA nor UASidekick will retain personally identifiable information after the delete action is completed by the user

If you cancel your subscription only:

  • your data remains intact
  • you will no longer be able to use UASidekick services to file LAANC or NOTAMs
  • you will no longer have access to micro weather or parcel data requests
  • you will still be able to view past flights and FAA authorizations in UASidekick when you log in

Complete Step 2 only if you want all data removed from both our system and the FAA’s LAANC system. This step cannot be undone.

Step 1: Cancel your subscription

Cancel your Apple iTunes subscription

Using your mobile device:

  1. Open the Apple App Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon in the upper-right corner
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select your active UASidekick subscription
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Cancel your Google Play subscription

Using your mobile device:

  1. Open the Google Play app
  2. Tap your profile icon in the upper-right corner
  3. Tap Payments & Subscriptions
  4. Select the UASidekick subscription
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Cancel your Stripe subscription

Using a web browser:

  1. Go to www.UASidekick.app
  2. Tap your profile icon in the upper-right corner
  3. Tap the Subscription tab
  4. Select Manage
  5. Tap Cancel Plan, then tap Cancel Plan again
  6. Select Return To UASidekick on the left

Step 2: Delete your account and all data

After canceling any paid subscription, follow these steps to permanently delete your UASidekick account and data:

  1. Log in to your UASidekick account at www.UASidekick.app
  2. Tap your profile icon in the upper-right corner
  3. Tap the Profile tab under My Dashboard in the top-left area of the window
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the Profile window and tap Delete Account & Data in the bottom-left corner
  5. Tap Delete in the pop-up window

Permanent deletion warning

By clicking Delete in the pop-up window, your account will be permanently removed from UASidekick systems and all associated data will be deleted.

This action cannot be reversed, and deleted data cannot be restored.

In addition:

  • all LAANC flights filed with the FAA will be removed from the FAA system in accordance with that agency’s operational guidelines

Enterprise pilot account deletion

If you are a pilot under an Enterprise UASidekick account, you must first ask your enterprise Admin to remove you from the enterprise account.

The Admin can do this by:

  1. Selecting the three dots next to the user account
  2. Choosing Remove From Enterprise

Once that step is complete, the pilot can delete their account by following the steps above.
